About VERC Capital The Platform

VERC Capital is an independent research platform, not an advisory firm. It publishes original analysis at the intersection of monetary policy, fiscal dynamics, and equity valuation, alongside systematic tools such as the Alpha Engine. All research and models are built by a single author, grounded in data, and made publicly available.

Master’s student at École Polytechnique Paris; former intercollegiate tennis player with a BA in Economics from Concordia University Irvine.

My work focuses on where macroeconomics meets markets. I study how monetary and fiscal conditions translate into asset prices and test these relationships through systematic models, primarily built in Python, with attention to where they hold and where they break down. I build tools that make institutional-style analysis available in an open format, and pair the data with rigorous, independent research.

My interest in economics is not purely academic. Having lived and worked across South America, North America, Europe, and Africa, I have seen how macroeconomic conditions shape outcomes at the individual and firm level. These experiences inform my perspective on why some markets compound capital efficiently, while others require a more nuanced, idiosyncratic approach.

Before finance, I competed in tennis at the national level in my home country, Brazil, which led me to collegiate tennis in Southern California. That experience taught me to love the game as much as the process.
